English Learners**

The EL (English Learner) team plays an important role in welcoming our newcomer students and other students who speak more than one language. We collaborate closely with other school staff to provide supports and modifications to meet student needs.

Our goal is to assist students in their English language proficiency and to highlight the many strengths and unique experiences they have. Instruction includes: small groups, pushing into classrooms to support, working one-on-one and pulling out as needed. We also work closely with families to provide interpretation as needed and to help these families feel welcomed and included in our Flynn family.
