Pa Sia Moua - Principal
Mrs. Moua is the principal at Flynn. She works with the Flynn staff and families on the academic and social and emotional programming for Flynn's students. Esta Mattice - School Secretary
Mrs. Mattice is the secretary at Flynn. She manages the day to day events ranging from student and staff attendance to keeping the events that occur here at school organzined and running smoothly. Welcome to Flynn Elementary School and the 2025-26 school year! 
Our Mission at Flynn is to inspire, prepare, and empower all students to live peaceful, creative, fulfilling, and responsible lives.  We live this mion for our students by providing them with a rigorous, safe, and focused experience each day.  
 
The story of Flynn Elementary School is rich.  Boyd Elementary School on Main Street was the East Hill neighborhood school. As Boyd aged, the Eau Claire Area School District determined that a new school was necessary.  They built Flynn in 2002 on land that was used as the Lee Street Playground.  A great deal of thought was placed into the design of our school, and it continues to shine today.  The building takes advantage of natural light through many widows.  Through the careful planning and design of Flynn, our school was designated a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design building in 2008. Because of this forward thinking, Flynn continues to look as beautiful as the day it was opened. 
 
Flynn continues to shine!  We currently provide a safe, fun and engaging educational experience to approximately 210  students in grades K - 5.  
 
Flynn Elementary School was recognized by the State of Wisconsin's Department of Public Instruction as a school that "Significantly Exceeds Expectations" in its last report card. The high-quality staff at our school, our focused academic and social and emotional learning experience, and the continued commitment to relationships with our families, all foster an educational experience that rivals the best elementary schools in the state!
