Flynn Elementary School Overview

Flynn Elementary School, established in 2002 after relocating from Boyd Elementary School, proudly bears the name of John J. Flynn, a dedicated member of the Eau Claire School Board for 23 years. Our school community consists of approximately 200 students and 55 staff members.

As an International Peace site, we are committed to integrating peace values into our daily practices both inside and outside the classroom. Flynn Elementary is also a Responsive Classroom School, embracing the philosophy that we assume nothing and teach everything. Our core belief is encapsulated in the acronym C.A.R.E.S., which stands for Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-Control.

At Flynn Elementary, we truly embody the spirit of a Flynn Family, where kindness and respect are the cornerstones of our interactions and relationships.
